Yes, thats right. The comic book mega company that has produced some of the most widely known characters in the history of pop culture. Just name the superhero and you can bet your private stash of Kryptonite that Marvel owns the rights.
What does this mean for the Disney Company? Who knows. I only hope that Bob Iger, President of Disney, will be smart enough to keep the characters in well-made blockbusters and out of the theme parks!
So why am I so excited about this?
Well, this merger means the possibility for some fantastic superhero movies produced by Disney. Which also creates the opportunity for me to, in my future job, create some wonderful superhero costumes!
